Casing for Monitoring System.

Overview.

The aim of this project was to develop the casing for an AI vision monitoring system.

Challenge.

The main challenges were to design the mechanism which could move the camera and lock it in a specific angle, and then make the mechanism ready for mass production. The casing itself had to be designed to allow for dissipation of heat that is generated by the CPU and electrical components.

Project details.

The project was divided into stages following the DFM process: design, proof of concept, prototyping, and review for manufacturing. The design is ready for injection moulding and high volume production.
