Battery Docking Station.

Overview.

We developed several iterations of a new casing for a charging station as part of Europe's largest phone charging network. We made the final design ready for mass production and plastic injection. The new version includes a touch screen, 10 slots for portable batteries, and all the necessary connectors to control and power the station.

Challenge.

The design had to fit with the existing material (batteries and electronics) that our client was already using. A touch screen was also integrated into the design.

Project details.

The CAD design was done by our team in accordance with our client’s guidelines, integrating a 10 inch touch screen. We manufactured a small series of 5 units in Nylon to test and validate the design before going to mass production with one of our partners.
